In acknowledgement of their humanitarian work after 9-11 in New York, the International Association of Scientologists provided the wherewithal to fully renovate the Church of Scientology of New York.Since the grand opening, where David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center, personally addressed the crowds and acknowledged their heroic work, the Church has been an example to the rest of the Scientology world.
Mr. Miscavige even brought up the New York Volunteer Ministers in his speech called This is Scientology to illustrate how Scientologists are determined to improve life in the areas around them.
